Assisted Living That Feels Like Home

The mission of the Cohen Home is to provide a supportive, home-like environment which enables older adults to live as independently as possible. Each apartment, decorated with resident's own furniture, is part of a community that includes attractive and inviting family and activity rooms, full library, hair salon, beautiful landscaped gardens and walking paths. In a nurturing atmosphere, the Cohen Home promotes the principles of family, community, and Jewish values.

A cornerstone of our philosophy is creating enjoyable, engaging and intergenerational programs tailored to both individuals and our full community of residents. Our daily and monthly activities are often inspired by our residents.

We offer assistance with personal care needs, medication management, housekeeping, laundry and short term respite care. A facility bus regularly transports residents to local community events and medical appointments. Assistance when you need it and privacy when you want it, our warm, family-oriented environment provides a supportive, caring community for you and your loved ones.

Individualized Plan of Care

Our distinguished coordinated care approach, which includes health and wellness services coordinated by Registered Nurses, as well as 24-hour on site, trained caregivers, are all a hallmark of the care we provide to you and your family. Part of that service includes an individualized plan of care. For residents with more significant physical and cognitive impairments, we offer additional services in our Extra Care unit.



Management You Can Trust

The Cohen Home is owned and managed by The William Breman Jewish Home, a multi-faceted, non-profit organization that has been serving the elderly and disabled in our community since 1951. Guided by the biblical commandment to “Honour thy father and thy mother,” The Home has recently been honored by the Georgia Medical Care Foundation’s (GMCF) for its “Commitment to Quality in Partnership for Patients” and is a recipient of a national honor recognizing The Home’s commitment to superior customer satisfaction.

The Cohen Home is also a proud partner and beneficiary of The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
