Mission Statement The purpose of the Cohen Home is to provide a supportive, home-like environment which enables older adults to live as independently as possible and to avoid premature institutionalization. It serves older men and women who are capable of attending to their own basic daily needs with minimal assistance. In a nurturing atmosphere, the Cohen Home promotes the principles of family, community, and Jewish values. Accreditation The Cohen Home is licensed by the state of Georgia as a Personal Care Home. Our accreditations are R.H.P. (Retired Housing Professional) by AAHSA and the University of North Texas. Organizations we belong to are: American Association of Housing and Services for the Aging, Assisted Living Federation of America, and Association of Jewish Aging Services.
